Peppered Cottons by Studio E Fabrics are yarn-dyed plain fabrics with a high-quality, wonderfully soft feel and a sophisticated, iridescent look. To make these so-called shot cottons, the weft and warp are dyed in two different colors before weaving, giving each fabric a unique look. Normal cotton fabrics are woven white and only then printed with the respective pattern. The different manufacturing process used at Peppered Cottons. makes this series so noble, for example, Scandinavian-inspired and purist quilt projects.

My heart beats for patchwork fabrics from well-known manufacturers and high-quality accessories for quilting. I've been sewing since I was 13 and I spend every free minute I have - I never go a day without fabric, rotary cutter, needle and thread! With the Laridae online shop I have realized a dream, because dealing with beautiful fabrics enriches my day. And advising customers on design issues is a matter close to my heart. I don't buy the fabrics in my shop "anyhow", but spend days poring over sample cards from the latest collections, with my focus on modern, graphic patterns. Personally, I love precuts because they always contain a complete collection that can be perfectly complemented with solids (single-colored fabrics).
