For many patchworkers, there comes a time when they want to move away from purchased templates and the classic blocks. And want to realize their own ideas and imaginations. This class is designed to give the impetus to transform self-designed shapes into fabric and immortalize them in a small wall quilt. For this we use the
Freezer paper technology
, sew the Dancing Squares for an unusual border design and finish the quilt with a modern Faced binding (a borderless binding). After booking the course you will receive a material list and the link for zoom access.

About Silke von Hoffmann
I have been practicing and loving patchwork for 25 years. I am fascinated by the interplay of patterns, colors and textures and the infinite design possibilities.
In 2015 I completed the course instructor training at the Patchwork Gilde Deutschland e.V. and since then I give patchwork courses for different techniques especially in the Hanover area. A great role model for me as a teacher is Ricky Tims, whose courses I have attended several times and whose techniques and work I love and who always inspires me.
I also deal with learning in my main job, I am a communication trainer and I find it exciting to meet all kinds of people and to learn with them and from them. And that is also what I want to achieve in my patchwork classes: teach and learn in a relaxed atmosphere.
I am a course instructor of the Patchwork Gilde Deutschland e. V. and look forward to meeting you in my course!
