Many of us like to wear long fingernails and then have the problem that regular thimbles are not wearable. The adjustable thimble from Prym provides a remedy, because at its opening on the upper side, the fingernail is free and can protrude. The special point-shaped indentations on the tip and the grooved notches on the side enable very precise needle guidance and prevent the needle from slipping off annoyingly. This thimble is also perfectly suitable for allergy sufferers who are sensitive to the usual metal thimbles, because it is made entirely of plastic. By heating it briefly in boiling water, it can be perfectly adjusted to any size.
