Heirloom® Premium Cotton Blend consists of 80% long-staple cotton fibers and 20% fine polyester. This combination of fibers is strong, durable and easy to work with – for both machine and hand quilting. The polyester content allows the positive properties of cotton to come into their own and takes some of the weight and stiffness away from the finished quilt. Opinions differ when it comes to choosing the right fleece – it’s best to try out several manufacturers. Please note that the fleece should be at least 2″/5 cm larger than the top all around, for quilting with the longarm machine even 4″/10 cm.

I don't buy the fabrics in my shop "anyhow", but spend days poring over sample cards from the latest collections, with my focus on modern, graphic patterns. Personally, I love precuts because they always contain a complete collection that can be perfectly complemented with solids (single-colored fabrics).
