This ruler from Creative Grids also has the ingenious anti-slip backing, which grips perfectly under pressure and thus prevents annoying slipping when cutting. After each strip is sewn, center the appropriate ruler mark on the fabric and trim to obtain 8″ log cabin blocks with a visual curve. Other variations are easily possible, just watch the video or the enclosed instructions.

My heart beats for patchwork fabrics from well-known manufacturers and high-quality accessories for quilting. I've been sewing since I was 13 and I spend every free minute I have - I never go a day without fabric, rotary cutter, needle and thread! With the Laridae online shop I have realized a dream, because dealing with beautiful fabrics enriches my day. And advising customers on design issues is a matter close to my heart. I don't buy the fabrics in my shop "anyhow", but spend days poring over sample cards from the latest collections, with my focus on modern, graphic patterns. Personally, I love precuts because they always contain a complete collection that can be perfectly complemented with solids (single-colored fabrics).
