Sashiko style placemat

During this great campaign, the regional managers of the Patchwork Gilde Deutschland e. V. published new instructions for a placemat every month. I made this using the Foundation Paper Piecing technique.

• Design: Heike Rosenbaum
• Fabrics: Patchwork denim from Art Gallery Fabrics and Moda Bella Solids
• Yarn: Aurifil 12 for Sashiko and Aurifil 28 for machine quilting
