02/2022 | Happy Scrappy Pineapple by Claudia Itzwerth
From January 1 – 30, 2022, Anja Seebald and I sewed a block every day using the Creative Grids Pineapple Trim Tool Mini – all from scraps. I had quite a few plain fabrics left over from my Patchwork Guild color class that I recycled here. Also check out Anja’s table runner and see how wonderfully different our quilts turned out!

Fabrics: Moda Bella Solids for the blocks, Makower Linen Texture “Charcoal” for the background
Yarn: for patchwork Aurifil 50 color 2605 and for quilting Aurifil 50 color 2560
Favorite place for a photo shoot: Planet Alsen, Itzehoe. The former cement factory provides the perfect backdrop.
Actually, this quilt is meant as a table runner, but at my feet it also does quite well 😉
