02/2021 | Contrasting stripes
This mini quilt, measuring 38.5 x 38.5 cm, was created as part of the course instructor training for the Patchwork Guild in the “Colour” module. In this course we went through the different color contrasts and as homework we implemented one of these contrasts of our choice in a quilt. I chose the “color itself” contrast – luckily, being a graphic designer, CMYK (Cyan-Magneta-Yellow-Key) is almost in my blood ;-). The so-called Faced Binding is a bit challenging.
